Andy C wants us to remember that the left can match any overheated rhetoric that the right-wing monkeys can dish out:

All tyrannies end the same way: in shame and humiliation, tatters and regret. The stars of this nearly 40 year tyranny – Reagan, Bush, Rush, Perkins, Falwell, Bush, Cheney, Starr, the whole, frenzied lot of these soft, moralizing bigots – they are intellectual enemies of the State, invidious as home-grown terror cells, corrupt loyalists to a lost cause who kidnapped our consciousness and undermined the very foundations of the American experiment.

Now that they’ve been banished, hooked convincingly off stage, we are left as a weakened nation, to sadly ponder the hysterias and madnesses that brought us to this low, despairing state.
